Read-only by design
No connector in APEXO can place, modify or cancel an order, or move funds. Every integration calls read-only endpoints for balances, positions and trade history.
Keys stay on your machine
API credentials live in Windows Credential Manager. Exchange request signing happens in the native Rust backend, never in the interface layer.
Your data stays local
Your journal is stored on your device. Nothing is uploaded to a server APEXO controls.

Does APEXO trade for me?
No. APEXO never places, modifies or cancels orders, never moves funds and never asks for withdrawal access. It only reads balances, positions and trade history.
Where do my API keys go?
Nowhere. They are stored in Windows Credential Manager on your computer, not in plain text and not in the app’s database. We recommend creating read-only API keys on your exchange.
Is my data uploaded anywhere?
Your journal is stored locally on your device and nothing is uploaded to a server APEXO controls. Two features talk to outside services: AI chat reaches the provider whose key you enter (or stays on your machine with Ollama), and the market research module fetches public price and news data.

How mature is it?
APEXO v0.1.0 is an early release that improves with every update, and updates install automatically. So far, MEXC (Spot and Futures) and Bybit have been tested on live accounts. The other exchanges, including Binance, have been tested in paper mode and are in early access while we finish their real-account checks. The installer is not code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen may show a warning: choose More info, then Run anyway.
